ACCOUNT & DATA DELETION POLICY — MANZIL

1. Purpose of This Policy

This Account & Data Deletion Policy explains how users and advertisers (agents) can request deletion of their accounts and personal data from Manzil.

Manzil is a real estate technology platform operated by Productive Digital Agency (SMC-Private) Limited (“Company”, “Manzil”, “we”, “us”).

This Policy should be read together with our:

• Terms & Conditions
• Advertiser Terms
• Listing & Content Policy

2. Who Can Request Deletion

The following may request account deletion:

• Users / property seekers
• Advertisers / agents / agencies / developers

Deletion requests must be made by the account holder or an authorized representative.

3. How to Request Account Deletion

3.1 In-App Deletion (If Available)

Where supported, users or advertisers may request deletion through:

App settings → Account → Delete Account

3.2 Email Request

If in-app deletion is not available, requests may be submitted by email:

To protect against unauthorized deletion, we may require:

• identity verification
• confirmation from the registered email or phone number

4. What Happens When You Request Deletion

Once a valid deletion request is received:

• Your account will be scheduled for deletion
• Your profile will no longer be publicly visible
• You will no longer be able to access the Platform using that account

Deletion requests are typically processed within 7–30 days, depending on the nature of the account and applicable legal requirements.

5. Data That Is Deleted

Subject to Section 6 below, deletion may include:

• profile information
• contact details
• listings and content associated with the account
• in-app messages (where applicable)

Deleted data cannot be recovered.

6. Data That May Be Retained (IMPORTANT)

• comply with legal obligations or court orders
• respond to lawful requests from authorities
• investigate, prevent, or address fraud, abuse, or security issues
• resolve disputes or enforce agreements
• comply with tax, accounting, or audit requirements

Examples of data that may be retained:

• identity verification records (e.g., CNIC / NTN)
• transaction or billing records (for advertisers)
• logs, IP addresses, and audit trails
• records related to fraud or policy violations

Such retained data is:

• securely stored
• access-restricted
• not used for marketing or platform activity

7. Special Notes for Advertisers / Agents

If you are an Advertiser or Agent:

• active subscriptions may need to expire or be settled before deletion
• deletion does not remove responsibility for past listings, disputes, or legal claims
• data related to fraud or violations may be retained even after deletion
• Deletion does not entitle advertisers to refunds unless explicitly stated in a separate Refund Policy.

8. Law Enforcement & Regulatory Requests

Manzil may retain or disclose account and data information where required to:

• comply with applicable laws
• respond to lawful requests from law enforcement or regulatory authorities
• protect the rights, safety, or property of Manzil, users, advertisers, or the public

Such disclosures are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Impact of Deletion

After deletion:

• you will lose access to your account
• your data will no longer be available for platform use
• deleted accounts cannot be restored
• new registration may be restricted in cases involving fraud or serious violations

10. Changes to This Policy

This Policy may be updated from time to time.

Changes will be effective when posted with an updated “Last Updated” date.

Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
